Recent itinerary changes due to Tropical Storm Rafael.

This storm is expected to intensify this week and could become a hurricane as it passes over the Cayman Islands. Below are the key updates regarding affected ships:

MSC Seascape – MSC Cruises has modified its planned stops, replacing Falmouth with Costa Maya on Monday, November 4, and Georgetown with Isla de Roatan on Tuesday, November 5, due to the storm’s projected path. MSC Seascape is still scheduled to return to Miami as planned on Saturday, November 9.

Four Royal Caribbean ships have also adjusted their routes:

Radiance of the Seas: Sailing from Tampa, originally set to visit Bimini, Freeport, and CocoCay, the itinerary was adjusted to avoid adverse weather.
Vision of the Seas: Avoided the Bahamas, instead spending extended time in Bermuda and stopping at Port Canaveral, Florida.
Freedom of the Seas: Followed the planned route to Jamaica and Grand Cayman but on different days to avoid the storm.
Brilliance of the Seas: Originally scheduled to stop in Grand Cayman, this visit has been replaced by Belize City, Belize.
The tropical storm is forecast to strengthen further, potentially reaching hurricane status late Tuesday as it moves through the Gulf of Mexico
